Give another dimension to a simple glass of water by enriching it with aromas and flavors of fruits, vegetables and all kinds of herbs.
Why flavor my water?
1) Flavored water is a very good choice and a completely natural solution to quench your thirst, but also to detoxify, without burdening your body with unnecessary calories.
2) It is an alternative way to get vitamins and minerals depending on the base you choose to use.
3) It is an original, tasty and economical idea for friendly gatherings or even for more formal events.
Some useful tips
* For best taste use filtered water.
* Prefer organic farming materials.
* The intensity of the flavors in the result -apart from the time the ingredients stay in the water- depends on your personal tastes, so do not be afraid to play with the quantities in the ingredients.
* Dare to experiment with combinations of fresh fruits and vegetables by adding fresh herbs.
* Be sure to consume flavored water throughout the day. Then the herbs - depending on which one you use - can give the water a bitter taste and the fruit or vegetables will spoil.
* Adjust the ingredients according to the hours you want to consume it to ideally enjoy its detoxifying properties (eg to be able to drink it more pleasantly in the morning, use citrus or cucumber without adding strong herbs).
